1.Brief introduction of the Symposium
We are happy to announce that the "13th China Functional Glass Academic Symposium and New Optoelectronic Materials International Forum" (hereafter, Symposium) will be held from August 29 to September 1, 2024 in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China. This Symposium will be hosted by the Speciality Glass Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and organized by Yanshan University.
The Symposium is a platform for academic communications between researchers in the field of functional glass and related areas. It has been successfully held for twelve times and actively contributes to the academic and industrial development of functional glass and optoelectronic materials. As latest progresses have been made worldwide since last Symposium, the organization committee decided to continuously host the “13th China Functional Glass Academic Symposium and New Optoelectronic Materials International Forum”, aiming at promoting academic exchange on research and development of functional glass. In the Symposium, the plenary talks will be given by well-known experts and researchers in the field of functional glass both national and worldwide. Fundamental issues and significant techniques in the functional glass related field will be thoroughly shared and discussed in this Symposium to help achieve the leapfrog development of function glass and optoelectronic materials.
To enhance the international academic exchange between young scholars of China and foreign countries, there will be an international youth forum on functional glass and optoelectronic materials in Aug.31 during this symposium. The formal language of this forum is English. In addition, outstanding presentation and poster rewards will be continuously established for the graduate students to encourage young scholars in the field of functional glass.
We sincerely invite researchers in the related field to attend the Symposium! We sincerely welcome and thank for all the supports from experts, researchers, and representatives from industry! We sincerely look forward for your attending, and hope to meet you at Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China!
