The "13th China Functional Glass Academic Symposium and New Optoelectronic Materials International Forum" (hereafter, Symposium) will be held at the end of August 2024 in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, China. This symposium will be hosted by the Specialty Glass Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society. The Symposium is a platform for academic communications between researchers in the field of functional glass and optoelectronic materials in China. Main topics are fundamental research on glass. In order to strengthen the academic exchange and cooperation of the young glass researchers and technicians between China and USA, we will organize an international youth forum on functional glass and optoelectronic materials during this symposium. We sincerely invite young scholars from the United States to attend this forum. The detailed information is as follows.
Schedule of Symposium: Aug.29~Sep.1, 2024 (just after ICG Annual Meeting 2024 held on August 25~28, Incheon, Korea). The international youth forum on functional glass and optoelectronic materials is a sub venue of the symposium and will be held on August 31st.
Location: Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China (the straight-line distance from Incheon City is about 650km, and the straight-line distance from Beijing City is about 270km). Recommended route from Incheon to Qinhuangdao: Take a flight from Incheon to Beijing (1h30min) and then take the high-speed rail from Beijing to Qinhuangdao (~2h).
Funding: Registration free, local accommodation for no more than five nights, one technical visit, cultural experience.
